Pastor - Rev. Kerry Waller
Rev. Kerry Waller is a graduate of the University of Kansas and earned her Masters of Divinity from the Divinity School at the University of Chicago in 2003. |
|
|
She is lifelong member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and has served on the Council for Theological Students for the Division of Overseas Ministry Board, as well as several regional committees in the Greater Kansas City Region and Illinois/Wisconsin Region.
Kerry is married to Minister Ben Dueholm, a student pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Kerry and Ben have a son named Soren. They enjoy camping and traveling.
Kerry has served as Pastor at the Christian Church of Villa Park since 2006. She previously served as an Associate Pastor in Chicago. She enjoys the opportunity to serve the Lord through this church community.
Her favorite Bible passage is John 1:1-5. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.”

Music Director - John Reynolds
John began serving as our Music Director in January 2009. John has studied and played trumpet for 15 years and has sung in choirs for the last 8 years. |

He also plays the guitar, drums and piano. He studied at Minnesota State College Southeast Tech to learn how to fix instruments. With those studies, he learned how to play most any brass or wind instrument. John became Music Director after his father served our church in that position for 15 years. John’s grandfather served as Choir Director in our church’s earlier years. John recently became engaged to his fiancé Stephanie.
