Worship is the cornerstone of our faith community.
We come together each week to honor and praise God and to express our faith in Him. We are nourished spiritually to prepare for the week ahead.

Sunday morning schedule:
Sunday school begins at 9:15 am .
There are classes for adults and youth/children.
Sunday Morning worship begins at 10:30 am.

| Come worship with us in our blend of traditional and contemporary worship styles. We strive to create a warm, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere at the Christian Church of Villa Park.
Our services include a mix of singing, reading from the Bible, sharing of our joys and concerns, prayers, and a weekly message from Rev. Waller. Click here for a preview of the themes and scriptures for the messages that will be brought by Rev. Waller over the next couple of months.

Every worship service includes communion. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior is welcome to take communion.

Children. Children accompany their parents to the worship service and may leave the service following the children’s sermon for children’s church. Children’s church includes a special age-appropriate lesson that is related to the sermon and Bible passages for the day. Nursery care is available during worship.
After the service. Following most of our worship services, we share in refreshments in our Fellowship Hall which allows for a time for fellowship and getting to know visitors and new members.

Music
|
We have a blend of music used in our services from standard hymns to contemporary praise songs. Every Sunday we have special music. Our worship band plays the second Sunday of every month. Our choir, soloists and other musicians provide music on the other Sundays.

If you would like to be a part of the Choir, rehearsals take place on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am in the Choir Room. The director is John Reynolds.
