Christian Church of Villa Park

Why are we moving? We have outgrown our current space that we are renting. In order to be able to have a larger, more welcoming space for worship and sufficient space to continue and grow our ministries, we need more square footage and a space more prominent in Villa Park. God has led us to this new space. It is located on St. Charles Road in a small shopping center, a couple of blocks west of Route 83. 

Is the Food Pantry moving as well? Yes! We specifically looked for a space that will house the food pantry and allow for its efficient operation. The Food Pantry will be in the back of the worship space with separate entrances. 

When will this move happen? We don’t yet know because construction and build-out of the new space is in process. Our best guess is sometime in September 2026. As soon as we know, we will let you know and will invite you to attend a Grand Opening worship service. ​

How can you help?

Fundraising Campaign. We have launched a Fundraising Campaign with a goal of raising $50,000. We have not yet met our goal and would love for you to contribute. Relocating comes with costs – the costs of construction and build-out, purchasing necessary furniture and equipment, and preparing for a relaunch of the church. You can make either a one-time gift or a 12-month or 24-month pledge. Every gift is a seed sown into the Kingdom of God. Your generosity will help create a place where people are welcomed, the Word is proclaimed, the hungry are fed, and the broken are made whole.

Prayers. More than anything, we covet your prayers. This is a big undertaking, and our entire congregation is involved in the process. Pray that God will provide every resource needed and help us overcome the hurdles that have come along the way. Pray that our new location will become a beacon of hope in the community. 

Moving. Once we have a move in date, we can use help with the physical move. We will have large items moved by movers, but there will be plenty of boxes and small items that need to be packed up, moved to the new location, and unpacked..
