Christian Church of Villa Park

Why did we move? We outgrew our space that we were renting at 1336 S Villa Avenue, Villa Park. In order to be able to have a larger, more welcoming space for worship and sufficient space to continue and grow our ministries, we needed more square footage and a space more prominent in Villa Park. God has led us to this new space. It is located on St. Charles Road in a small shopping center, a couple of blocks west of Route 83.

Did the Food Pantry move as well? Yes! We specifically looked for a space that would house the food pantry and allow for its efficient operation. The Food Pantry is in the back of the worship space with separate entrances.

When did the move happen? We finally moved the week of October 18. Our Grand Opening worship service will be held on November 1 at 10:30am CST. On November 22, we will have a service of Dedication and Celebration at 2:00pm.

How can you help?

Fundraising Campaign. We launched a Fundraising Campaign with a goal of raising $50,000. We have not yet met our goal and would love for you to contribute. Relocating comes with costs – the costs of construction and build-out, purchasing necessary furniture and equipment, and preparing for a relaunch of the church. You can make either a one-time gift or a 12-month or 24-month pledge. Every gift is a seed sown into the Kingdom of God. Your generosity will help create a place where people are welcomed, the Word is proclaimed, the hungry are fed, and the broken are made whole.

How You Can Contribute: We gratefully accept your gift in any of the following ways:

1. Check — Payable to Christian Church of Villa Park (write Relocation on the memo line) and mailed to 1336 S. Villa Ave., Villa Park, IL 60181.

2. Givelify — Please click on the Give button at the top of the home page of this website to contribute using Givelify. Select ‘Church Relocation Fund’ as Gift Purpose.

3. Online Pledge Form — To enable us to keep track of all your contributions, please visit bit.ly/CCVPRelocationFundPledgeForm

Prayers. More than anything, we covet your prayers. This is a big undertaking, and our entire congregation is involved in the process. Pray that God will provide every resource needed and help us overcome the hurdles that have come along the way. Pray that our new location will become a beacon of hope in the community.

We are filled with excitement about where God is taking us.

We believe the best chapters of our story are still being written.

We invite you to be a part of that story!
