I don't know about you, but I like to keep up the appearance that I have it all together. I paint over cracks, smile when I don't feel like it, and do my best to hide all my vulnerabilities and mistakes.
Fortunately, that pretend perfect is not the me or you God is interested in, that God loves.
During this Lenten season we'll be poking and prodding at all those cracks in our lives that we've done our best to hide. We'll let ourselves be vulnerable, acknowledge our mistakes, our grief, our pain.
